I recommend if you have a business, you get have a Web site. If I’m looking for products or services I search the Internet with Google. I base my purchasing choices based on customer reviews and the business Web site. If a business does not have a Web presence I am not likely to be one of their customers.
In previous years, prior to 2012, I have tried to provide Web services for San Diego companies. I believe every company should have a Web presence so I even offered to setup free Web pages for restaurant owners. I can’t do it anymore. This SDBEST Website is a hobby for me. I’m working full time and attending class full time. The simple fact is I have little spare time and I’d rather spend the little spare time I have hiking, walking, running, at the beach, working-out and meditating.
However, if you need a Web designer, and you don’t have a large budget, I recommend you contact the Career Services Department at The Art Institute in Mission Valley or perhaps another local university or community college where can find students interested in Web design and still in school. They will often be willing to work on projects for you while perfecting their trade. I have a personal knowledge of the skills the students at The Art Institute learn and highly recommend their current students and graduates.
