Last Wednesday I spent over a $100 in grocery items there at the market place of the deli/ meats store. Items were bad, old tasting, one loaf of spice bread had worms on them. Cookies were stale and items sold had ixpred dates on them. The girl claiming she was the store manager " Jennife" suggestet it was my fault for having bought items from you shelves that were outdated, she suggested I was the one responsible for that. Next she went on to suggest I shop somewhere else if I didn't like the "outdated" products. According to her the store has no control over this since they are imported items. This happened to me a year ago too, with the dates being expired on the Dutch rusk and I returned them to the store to get my money back, but I live too far away now to just do tht. ALso, embaressingly enough I gave most of those items purchased away as presents. Jennifer was expremely rude and condescending. I will never go to tip top again.

Been going to Big John's for the last 15 years. I try to make it over there at least once every summer for the Big John Breakfast.

You really can't find a better deal anywhere in Carlsbad. One of the gastronomical highlights of ANY San Diego trip. Are you ready to eat? Then get off Palomar Airport Rd. and go to to Big John's!

Schmeckt sehr gut! nod

We visited Carlsbad last year (my Grandson had moved there) Tip Top Meats became a favorite place for us--in fact, when we returned home to Boston--I talked about it so much that my Grandson took a great picture of the restaurant had it framed and gave it to me as a Christmas present. If that doesn't say it all--I just don't know what does!!
P.S. Impecable service, neat as a pin and a wonderful Gentleman (the owner is someone to remember!!!)

We are currently living in Hawaii and wish there was a place like Tip Top Meats here! The service, quality, product variety and abundance are absolutely fabulous! We are going to make a trip to Carlsbad solely for Tip Top Meats! Hope they are there forever. Aloha!
