I was really shocked how great the food was here. I had the mushroom crusted salmon and my date had the beef filet with truffled onions and it was great. I'm a bit of a foodie and have dined in some of the best restaurants in the US and Aqua Blu is among them.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Aqua Blu twice this year.
The Seared Ahi Tuna with Japanese pepper sauce, and wasabi potato cake was melt-in-your-mouth perfection.
The second time I opted to have the special, Scallion Encrusted Sea Bass served on a bed of Tabouli. Sweet, moist and flavorful. It was fabulous.
From the well stocked bar, to the fanastic appetizers, entrees and dessert, pleasant and efficient service made both times throughly wonderful dining experiences.

No E. Coli here. Fantastic food. Fair service. I will visit again and suggest you do too.

Visited San Diego over the weekend of July 16, 2004. Dined at Aqua Blu over the weekend, where my date and I shared the Lobster Bisque and Diver Scallops with Wasabi Caviar and Rice. This is the only restaurant where we shared food the whole weekend, and we both got sick the following week, me with a 103 temperature for over a week and a Kidney infection, diagnosed as E. Coli. Still paying the medical bills as of today because of the whole ordeal. Reported restaurant to the CDC. Anyway, hope you are luckier if you eat there, I have to say, despite the E. Coli poisoning, the lobster bisque was really yummy, the scallops were really sour though. Server was really nice although she didnt tell us the daily specials and I probably would have ordered one, and avoided getting E. Coli all together. GOOD LUCK EATING HERE!
