Vincent's Sirinos - Escondido
To savor a "great culinary experience in Escondido", head straight to this "classy" "sleeper" where "genius" chef-owner Vincent Grumel "goes out of his way" to be "creative" and "cooks to order" "generous portions" of "consistently superb" French-Mediterranean dishes.

Now after a recent remodeling, the room is nearly as "warm and inviting" as the "fine" staff and its proximity to the California Center for the Arts makes it an ideal choice for pre-concert dining.

I ate there this evening and the food was very good.
Duck, beef, fish, foie gras - all well prepared. The sauces in particular stood out, rich, well seasoned and very complimentary to the food.

I saw no 'tasting menu' option. I guess I'll have to ask.

I had a very bad experience here on a recent Sunday. I had the Chef's Tasting Menu. I guess their Chef left and you sure can tell..
