Spread is quite possibly the most innovative cuisine in the city. The kitchen team at spread prides itself on creating eclectic organic cuisine in an imaginative way. From a mole with mixed veggies and sweet stick rice to a Thai veggie pizza. The all vegetarian menu at Spread emphasizes minimally processed, locally grown produce and artisanal breads. Their drinks are creative and fresh too. I highly recommend Spread. But order dishes that compliment each other (dishes are ordered to share). The peanut butter and chocolate spread french toast is good, but it's so sweet that you'll want your other dishes to be savory.

They yank you salad right out of the ground from the garden in the back as you wait. The owner and his wife are also so encouraging and human. I also love the comfy suspended from the ceiling chairs.
